We are working with a client in the Healthcare/Medical Sector, operating for almost 20 years. Their team provides individualised care for every resident.
This is an opportunity for an experienced care home manager to be part of the organisation's strategic vision.
Job Summary:
In the absence of the Director of Nursing, you will undertake the role and responsibilities of the Person-in-Charge. You will ensure high standards of hygiene and food safety are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with senior managers on housekeeping standards, food safety, quality and choice, maintenance standards, and administration efficiency.
* Participate in clinical management, including providing care to residents, communicating with residents/families/representatives, managing staff, monitoring performance and standards, developing policies and procedures, and delivering training.
* Coordinate the quality and safety system, including clinical risk management and resident involvement.
* Lead by example a professional, punctual, and dedicated team.
Essential Criteria:
* At least 3 years' experience of nursing older persons in the last 6 years.
* Minimum of 7 years post-registration experience.
* In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and regulatory inspection activity.
* Third-level qualification in management.
* Ability to manage workload effectively and respond flexibly to new demands.
* Able to influence others, build constructive relationships, and achieve outcomes.
* Promote quality assurance within the clinical area.
* Registered General Nurse.
