About the Role
As a QA Officer at {company}, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, working closely with the Technical and Production teams to ensure the highest standards of food quality, safety, and compliance.
This pivotal role involves maintaining and improving our Food Safety and Quality Management System (FSQMS) while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards during production.
* Conduct daily checks on GMP, weights, dates, temperatures, CCPs/OPRPs, and hygiene.
* Perform audits (hygiene, structural, internal, and glass) and monitor external site standards.
* Inspect raw materials, finished products, and bought-in goods for conformity.
* Manage non-conforming product procedures and document control processes.
* Provide training to operators and support process improvements.
* Collaborate with Production, Engineering, NPD, and Sales to drive technical strategies.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a food manufacturing environment.
* Training in food hygiene, HACCP, and internal auditing.
* Strong attention to detail with a proactive and assertive approach.
* Knowledge of FSSC 22000, BRC, RSPO, and relevant food legislation.
* Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
* Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and under pressure.
