The role:
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist at the mid-career level with proven expertise in Microsoft security solutions and key industry frameworks. In this role, you will manage internal cybersecurity risks while supporting global projects, ensuring robust cloud security and effective incident response coordination. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Manage internal cybersecurity risks using Microsoft security tools, including Microsoft Defender (Office 365, Endpoint, Cloud Apps, Identity), Azure AD Conditional Access, Intune, and Microsoft Purview.
2. Coordinate with external SOCaaS providers for security alert review, incident escalation, and response planning.
3. Conduct risk assessments and support compliance efforts aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and related standards.
4. Provide cybersecurity support for global projects, ensuring secure collaboration via Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
5. Assist in the implementation of governance, risk, and vendor management practices to maintain security standards across the organization.
6. Participate in other cybersecurity-related activities as assigned.
Your experience:
1. At least 2 years hands-on experience with the Microsoft security ecosystem (Defender Suite, Azure AD, Intune, Purview).
2. Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST frameworks, GDPR, and other compliance standards.
3. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
4. Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified (Security, Compliance, and Identity-related credentials).
5. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in the cybersecurity domain.
6. In addition, experience working with SOCaaS providers and participating directly in incident response procedures is considered an advantage. Exposure to international project environments or collaboration across cross-functional teams will also be beneficial in this role.
