About the Role
We seek a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher on DNA computing, DNA data storage, and DNA nanostructures in the research group of Professor Damien Woods at the Hamilton Institute.
Key Responsibilities
* Engineer DNA-based self-assembly systems, DNA/molecular computers, and DNA data-storage systems in the wet-lab.
* Design and implement DNA nanostructures for DNA computing and DNA storage.
* Control nucleation for DNA tile-based self-assembly.
Requirements
* Familiarity with DNA nanostructures, including DNA origami and DNA tile-based systems.
* Experience in designing and executing wet-lab experiments.
* Ability to mathematically and computationally analyze molecular computers.
Desirable Skills
* Theoretical background in computer science or bioengineering.
* Interest in applying ideas from algorithms and computer programming to molecular processes.
