The Project Manager will take responsibility as a Package or Scope of Works owner on Campus, taking the lead for Safety, Schedule, Quality and Cost and reporting to both the Client side (Echelon / Investor) and the Customer (End User / Tenant)
The ideal candidate will take the scope from the Design Stage and work alongside Procurement and Cost to execution of Contraction Contracts including OFCI and will be the Point of Contact of the Package / Scope of Works (or multiple thereof) on site, and will interact daily, weekly to resolve, risk assess and mitigate all issues in the field all the way through to successful commissioning and handover of the facility to the End User.
The Project Manager will be required to report weekly to Campus Director and other Business Function Leads. They will also routinely support Senior Project Managers on site.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Construction Management experience
* Excellent communication and people management skills
* Capacity to communicate and work with a customer on a weekly basis.
* Ability to problem solve and mitigate challenges in a collaborative manner.
* Capable of holding team members and business partners accountable.
* Ability to challenge design solutions, schedule offering and commercial offers to ascertain the optimum solution for both the business and the end user.
* Good knowledge of safety systems, culture and standards required on a large construction campus.
Education & Qualifications:
Primary Degree, Architectural, Engineering (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical) or similar qualification and/or Project Management Degree.
