Role Purpose The Digital Marketing & Engagement Executive will be responsible for leading HRI's fan engagement strategy through content creation, social media management, and digital storytelling.
This role will focus on increasing audience interaction, nurturing online communities, and amplifying the excitement of Irish horse racing across HRI's digital platforms.
The ideal candidate will be a confident content creative with a deep understanding of audience engagement and digital trends.
Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Engagement: Develop and execute a social content strategy that fosters community growth and fan interaction.
Social Media Management:
Oversee and manage HRI's social media platforms, including content planning, posting, and community management and analytics.
Audience Growth & Retention:
Build and maintain relationships with existing and new fans, encouraging active participation and engagement.
Collaboration:
Work closely with racecourses, content creators, and external agencies to develop engaging multimedia content.
Performance Tracking & Insights:
Monitor key engagement metrics, analyze content performance, and provide monthly insights to optimize future campaigns.
Live & Event Coverage:
Deliver engaging real-time content during major racing events to maximize reach and engagement.
Relationship Building:
Strong ability to cultivate relationships within the racing industry to elevate the sport's key personalities.
Fan-Focused Initiatives:
Launch interactive campaigns that encourage fans to share their racing experiences and become part of HRI's racing community.
Digital Racecourse Support:
Working with the RMS team to deliver and execute campaigns for the Irish Racecourse marquee events. Ideal Candidate Profile Skilled content and multimedia creator.
Strong experience in social media management and digital storytelling.
Creative mindset with a passion for developing engaging content.
Excellent copywriting, communication, and multimedia content production skills.
Experience in community management and audience engagement strategies.
Experience and knowledge of the Irish horse racing Industry and sports marketing would be beneficial for success in this role.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
