About the Role
This role will ensure that all members and guests' needs and expectations are met.
You will assist in the coordination and organisation of all events in the function rooms, following the function sheet and guest requirements.
Liaising with group organisers during events and ensuring changes are passed to relevant departments.
Assisting sales teams or guests with queries prior to events.
Organising necessary equipment for events, including stores, laundry, florists, and outside hire companies, while keeping costs to a minimum.
Supervising food and beverage services in function rooms, maintaining high standards.
Assisting with hotel events during quiet periods, upon request from F&B Operations Manager and Director of Food and Beverage.
Following up on member or guest queries and complaints, informing relevant personnel.
Coordinating staff for events, minimising payroll costs within agreed parameters.
Reporting maintenance issues and ensuring waste disposal follows recycling policy.
