Partner with the best As a Calibration Repair Technician, you will be part of production team be self-motivated and reactive. Working to meet production deadlines whilst also working with other departments. Primary functions will be product testing, troubleshooting for electrical/electronic, electro-mechanical assemblies, fault finding, repair, installation/set-up of test stations and other projects required by the company. As a Calibration Repair Technician, you will be responsible for:Assembling, testing and Calibration of electro-mechanical assemblies within the complete product range manufactured with the aid of diagrams, schematics, sketches, Bills of Materials or detailed verbal instructions with minimum supervision.Troubleshooting, fault find and repair of product and customer repair units with detailed reports.Soldering skills essential.Performing general assembly tasks with use of mechanical tools and/or proprietary equipment.Assisting in the creation of new documentation and fixtures.Assisting in the training of new technicians, as needed.Ensuring personal compliance of ESD policies.Participating proactively in internal audits and LEAN programs.Ensuring commitment and compliance with Baker Hughes Quality policy & procedures with solid focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.Valuing people's health and safety in the workplace and continue in keeping EHS safe practices at work with every employee.Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will:Have a recognised third-level accreditation in Electrical/Electronic Technician or proven technical work experience in a related environment in process improvement and process establishmentHave the ability to use test equipment such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and frequency countersHave a solid background in understanding of engineering drawings, schematics, bills of materials and test proceduresHave the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task, solid team player, self-motivated and work on own initiativeHave soldering experienceBe proficient in using MS Word and Excel, experience with SAP experience would be advantageousHave experience using LabVIEW programming or any other programming experience would be advantageousHave effective communication and interpersonal skillsHave solid computer programming skills and understanding of computer architectureHave an understanding of process measurement and instrumentationHave the right to work in Ireland not requiring future sponsorshipWork in a way that works for you In this role, we can offer the following flexible working patterns:On site 5 days per week (Monday - Friday), working 40 hours per week - 8 hours per dayFlexible working start time between 0700-0900hrs and end time between 1500-1700hrsWorking with us Our people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
