We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Person in Charge to join our team and play a key role in the leadership and management of our services.
Role Overview:
As the Deputy Person in Charge, you will support the Person in Charge in the day-to-day management and operational oversight of our social care services. You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, provide leadership to our care team, and maintain a person-centered approach to care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Person in Charge in overseeing the daily operations of the service, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
* Support the implementation of care plans and ensure they are tailored to meet individual needs.
* Monitor compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and organizational policies.
* Provide guidance, supervision, and training to the care team, fostering a culture of excellence.
* Conduct assessments and reviews of service users to ensure their needs are being met effectively.
* Act as a point of contact for service users, families, and external stakeholders, addressing concerns and fostering positive relationships.
* Deputize for the Person in Charge in their absence, ensuring continuity of service.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service by identifying opportunities for development and implementing best practices.
Requirements:
* A relevant qualification in social care, health, or a related field at Level 7 or higher in Social Care Management or Psychology.
* Significant experience in a leadership or supervisory role within social care and working with children.
* Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in social care.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
* Commitment to upholding the values of dignity, respect, and person-centered care.
* Clean driving licence.
* A compassionate and empathetic style.
