What’s the Role: Support Worker
What It Takes:
An important part of the staff role is to support the needs of individuals through the ethos and values of Praxis Care. The ability to be resilient, communicate effectively, and utilize a variety of communication tools is essential.
Our dedicated staff team supports our individuals to learn and develop their independence skills, which includes tasks such as shopping, cleaning their flat, personal care, accessing the community, budgeting, and taking medication. Each staff member has something to bring to the role, and we encourage staff to use their humor, sense of fun, and creativity in supporting our individuals with day-to-day life.
Where You Would Work: Greenville Day Service, Co Cork
Greenville Day Service is located in East Cork, situated on the Residential Campus in Greenville Carrigtohill. The service has outdoor space, and 6 individuals attend this service, with 1 individual receiving a 1:1 service. The staffing ratio at present is 3 staff to 5 individuals, with varying needs that can result in challenging behaviors within this service.

Salary Details:
Support Worker
Full Time, Part Time and Relief Contracts available
€27,990 - €38,844 per annum
*Salary based on 39 hours per week. Salary dependent on experience.
