An opportunity has arisen for a Full Time Leisure Manager to join our team at The Charleville Park Hotel.
The Ideal Person: To be successful in this role, you should possess strong customer focus and adept management skills while effectively leading and managing a team.
The Role: As a Leisure Manager, you will be responsible for providing support in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the leisure facility, ensuring the smooth functioning of all leisure-related services and amenities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the Leisure Club operates with a guest-focused approach, exceeding expectations.
* Manage all aspects of the member experience from initial contact to ongoing satisfaction.
* Manage and ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the facility and equipment in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
* Training and development of staff.
* Lead and manage all operations of the Leisure Club, maintaining high-quality standards.
* Take full responsibility for the financial management of the department.
* Provide support for creating a learning atmosphere and offer coaching to team members.
* Develop a culture of empowerment and individual responsibility within the staff.
* Engage in sales efforts through up-selling and guest care.
* Lead the Business Planning Process for the Leisure Club.
* Plan, execute, and review operational activities in accordance with SOPs.
* Monitor and maintain employee productivity levels.
The Person:
* 1 year of experience in supervisory or assistant management roles within the leisure or related industry.
* Excellent customer service.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Excellent communication skills and personal presentation.
* IT Proficient.
* Flexible - this role involves morning/evening/weekend/weekday work.
* Fluent English.
