The Opportunity:
We are currently recruiting for a Project Surveyor to join our Digital Engineering Department on permanent basis based out of our Dublin office. This is a great opportunity for an experienced surveyor to work on a variety of high profile projects both in Ireland and across Europe, whilst using cutting edge technology.
What will I be doing in my new role?
Proactively managing a team of surveyors on site and allocating resources accordingly to key projects.
Delivering projects on time, within budget, to the required scope and ensuring compliance with all company Health and Safety (H&S) standards.
Ensuring any H&S nonconformities are identified and rectified, ensuring the requirements of the Health, Safety and Environmental Management System are met.
Adopting the company’s surveying standards
Attending briefings as required.
Providing feedback and insights at site/management meetings.
Supporting, training and mentoring junior staff.
Working collaboratively with Clients on various projects
Any other duties as required by the business.
Requirements of the role:
Have a relevant degree qualification (geomatics, civil engineering or similar) and at least 10 years of experience (be technically trained in all aspects of laser scanning and surveying).
Chartered surveyor status or professional membership of surveying bodies (desirable).
Strong experience of laser scanning on large projects – site capture and processing.
Experience of managing teams on a large project.
Knowledge of traversing and network adjustments.
Knowledge of photogrammetry and meshing techniques.
Experience of mobile mapping desirable.
Experience of working with the standard outputs and deliverables in measured building surveys & BIM.
Possess a strong understanding of common industry practices.
Possess a full clean Irish/EU driving license with flexibility to travel nationwide.
Possess a Safe Pass and be willing to obtain other relevant qualifications - as dictated by client or project.
