The Role
This position will involve advising a range of clients, including financial institutions and credit servicing companies, on matters such as mortgage litigation, asset recovery, and enforcement of security.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Advisory: Advising clients on mortgage litigation, asset recovery, and enforcement of security.
* Case Management: Handling a high-volume, fast-moving caseload with efficiency and attention to detail.
* Litigation: Managing litigation caseloads across all courts, including drafting pleadings, liaising with counsel, and progressing case files to conclusion.
* Defence Litigation: Managing defence litigation files with professionalism and precision.
* Research & Analysis: Interpreting and analyzing case law and legislation, and providing clear, practical advice to clients.
* Collaboration: Working independently and alongside senior department members on a variety of litigation matters.
* Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent communication and service delivery.
About You
The ideal candidate will bring:
* Experience: Minimum of two years' post-qualification experience in Asset & Debt Recovery.
* Organizational Skills: A proven ability to manage a busy caseload in a fast-paced environment.
* Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
* Attention to Detail: Excellent administration and organizational skills, with a meticulous approach to work.
