Job description:
Delivery Driver
Location: Field Based, Leinster area
Department: Community Care Services
Reports to: CCS Supervisor
Contract type: Fixed Term Contract – 6 months
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
* Organising and scheduling deliveries and collections of medical equipment.
* Assembly and demonstration of equipment at customer sites.
* Ensuring delivery van is kept clean and in good condition.
* Attending training courses as required.
* Carrying out all activities in compliance with company, EHS & regulatory requirements.
* Participating in cross-functional teams, as necessary.
* Ensuring compliance with all quality, health & safety, company, and customer site regulations.
* Working in accordance with work instructions, safe working practices, and method statements, ensuring relevant paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
* Contacting clients prior to each delivery/collection.
* Liaising with the office on issues with delivery/collection.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will ideally have:
* A full, clean driving license.
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* MS Office skills desirable.
* Pleasant, confident manner and good verbal and written communication skills.
* Articulate, courteous with a friendly manner.
* Capability of working on own initiative without close supervision, as well as being a member of a team.
* Strong internal & external customer focus.
* Attention to detail.
* Ability to work to deadlines and manage a multitasking environment.
Other information:
* Occasional requirements to work beyond normal working hours and to travel to other Fannin sites will be expected.
* You will be expected to attend internal & external training courses.
* Excellent remuneration package commensurate with experience will apply.
