Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Entry of treatment guarantees into the system
2. Checking policies for coverage and completing treatment guarantees up to authorization stage
3. Following up on outstanding cases by e-mail and telephone
4. Reviewing the work queues and preparing for distribution and system management
5. Other responsibilities as required and directed by the manager
6. Assist in the processing of treatment guarantees
7. Assist Manager in creation of policies for the department
8. Record minutes of team meetings
9. Responsibility for Health, Safety and Welfare within team (please refer to the Company’s Safety Statement for full list of responsibilities)
REQUIREMENTS
1. Experience in the health insurance industry
2. Willingness to develop Medical knowledge
3. Previous experience in a customer focused role, in an administrative capacity
4. Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
5. Completion or progression towards the Diploma in Private Medical Insurance
6. Ability to work effectively within a team environment
7. Honesty and Integrity
8. Ability to work under pressure
9. Ability to work on own initiative
10. Highly motivated and proactive
11. Strong knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT, along with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
