The Finance competency at EY is a multifaceted team that focuses on providing expert guidance and support to clients in navigating complex regulatory landscapes, managing and analysing finance and risk data, and implementing finance transformation initiatives.
In response to market demand, we are looking for an experienced senior manager in working with Financial Services Industry in Ireland or UK, and proven expertise in leadership of complex finance transformation delivery projects.
Your key responsibilities:
We are looking for a person with Finance and risk regulatory reporting experience, track record in project and team leadership experience, client relationship management excellence, communication, and business acumen as well as passion for innovation, building high performing teams and culture of trust, respect, and diversity.
Client responsibilities:
* Manage or support engagements with our clients and provide high quality consulting services to a portfolio of clients.
* Understand EY’s service offerings and actively support in identifying opportunities to better serve clients across our range of services.
* Develop and maintain long term client relationships and networks.
* Assist on business development opportunities and support proposal development efforts.
* Manage innovation in processes and systems, leveraging technology to enhance client performance.
Practice and people development responsibilities:
* Manage and lead diverse teams with varying skillsets.
* Adapt your leadership style to fit team, client, and their cultural needs.
* Engage in business development activities.
* Foster a supportive, inclusive and growth team-oriented work culture.
Skills and attributes for success:
* Excellent client relationship management skills.
* Proven track record in relevant management and leadership roles.
* Expertise in key Finance Regulatory reporting or Regulatory change programmes.
* Understanding of finance processes, finance technologies and operating models.
* Minimum of 7+ years in delivering regulatory reporting or finance transformation programmes.
* An accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) applied in a financial institution would be beneficial.
* Strong communications skills.
* Experience with SQL and data governance tooling.
