With a dedicated, experienced, and professional team, they ensure best practices in key areas of pension scheme management and provide comprehensive services to Trustees, Employers, and Members. Key Responsibilities and Duties Reporting to the Head of Trustee Secretariat Services, this role primarily involves working with the Trustees of a small number of large Occupational Pension Schemes. There is a significant emphasis on ensuring compliance with pension regulations and best-in-class governance for the Schemes. This is a varied, hands-on role where the successful candidate will be an integral and valued member of a small team. Candidates with pensions administration experience may be interested in broadening their expertise to include working closely with Trustee Boards and their various advisors and consultants. Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Head of Trustee Secretariat Services and the Executive P. A. Assisting with scheme governance project work and other ad hoc Trustee projects. Supporting the implementation of Trustee investment decisions, including preparing investment instructions, collating AML documentation, and handling various fund manager requests. Assisting in preparations for monthly Board and Committee Meetings, including the collation of meeting papers. Taking minutes at Board and Committee meetings. Handling CRO and other regulatory filings. Reviewing and restructuring hard copy filing systems, including archiving, shredding, and scanning. Contributing to the preparation, review, and checking of Trustee-related documents and reports. Key Skills and Competencies 3+ years in the pensions sector. Holder of, or working towards, a pension, financial, Company Secretarial, or investment qualification. Strong working knowledge of the pension industry, including regulatory and governance requirements. Ability to work to strict deadlines while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail. A credible individual who is professional in dealings with stakeholders and understands the importance of confidentiality and discretion.
