Description
Purpose of the Role:
The purpose of this post is to provide professional and clinical leadership within St Joseph’s Ward that predominantly cares for orthopaedic and GI patients but will accept all medical patients. Encouraging staff to develop clinical expertise for the benefit of patients, staff and users of the service.
To promote a progressive attitude to the continual improvement of patient care through research and evidence-based practice.
Minimum Requirements
* Be registered on the Children’s Division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
* Have at least 3 years post registration experience including experience within the area
* Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role
