DescriptionAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance & Systems Manager with daa International reporting directly into the SVP Commercial & Finance.
As daa International expands, there is an exciting opportunity to join the Finance team. daa International has recently gone live with Oracle Fusion Financials, so the role will have an initial focus on bedding in all processes and policies across month end, engaging with the finance teams in SSC and Riyadh. Ensuring alignment with Group systems and ensuring all KSA local requirements are achieved will be another key objective. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a strong Governance and risk culture across the daa International finance teams in Ireland and Riyadh. They will also be responsible for enhancing the Finance System through automation and integration of an Aero Billing System at Red Sea Airport.
In addition, the successful candidate will be required for FP&A within daa International and take responsibility for the preparation of the monthly management accounts. The role will also involve ongoing contract management for daa International clients, assessing the long-term Corporate structure as daa International expands into new regions. The successful candidate will also lead the new sustainability reporting requirements.
On an ad hoc basis, the role will also involve supporting the daa International team in the development of bid proposals, including financial analysis, preparation of business plans, budgeting, and client presentations.
The successful candidate will also need to professionally manage and interact with a wide array of stakeholders, including but not limited to, SSC, Group Finance, Internal & External Audit, Shared Services Centre. The role will require some travel but for limited periods.
This role will report directly into SVP Finance & Commercial, with a strong dotted line into Group Financial Controller. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate strategic vision, innovation, and creativity as well as a commitment to driving the best results for daa International. The role will be offered on an initial 18-month contract.
Responsibilities
Stabilisation of processes in both Ireland and KSA related to the recently implemented Oracle Fusion Financials ERP system. Working with all stakeholders, to ensure a smooth and timely month end processes.
Lead the Latest Expected and Budget process, working with the Senior Leadership team to inform budgeting process.
Develop a Governance Scorecard for the Company
Develop local Risk Registers and create processes locally (in all daa International jurisdictions)
Monitor the financial performance of daa International against the approved budget as required
Ensure compliance with appropriate internal controls to maintain the integrity & quality of reporting.
Lead the process for developing a global Corporate structure as the business expands.
“In process” contract management; provide project oversight to ensure all revenue opportunities are captured, including timely billing, managing contract variations and payments.
Bid pricing; prepare, develop, and present bid financial models, including pricing strategy, KPI’s and returns for daa International bid submission
Lead the new reporting requirements for sustainability for daa International.
Deputise for the SVP Finance & Commercial, both internally and by attending client/partner calls and meetings as required.
QualificationsThe successful candidate will be a key member of the daa International team and will possess excellent communication skills, be a self-starter and highly motivated.
• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a minimum of 5 years PQE and a strong technical accounting experience. • Systems Implementation experience with Project Management skills• Commercial finance experience and acumen• Self-starter working with autonomy• Industry Generalist (Experience in an airport environment is desirable but not essential)• Governance development and review capabilities• Risk Identification• Leadership qualities & ability to prepare and present to senior Execs• Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proven ability to successfully manage a variety of internal and external stakeholder groups outside of finance.• Flexibility to meet the fast-paced changing requirements of the business
