Our client is looking for a Sustainability Avisor to join their team in Dublin.

What you will be doing: Leading on areas of sustainability impacts, risks and opportunities in their own operations and that of their value chain and working with the Head of Sustainability, plus others, on developing sustainability strategies and management plans.
Conduct research on emerging sustainability trends and technologies, evaluate and recommend new sustainability practices, tools, and technologies for adoption.
Act as the go to person for project teams on sustainability specific matters and supporting the Operations Directors to integrate sustainability themes across their projects.
Partnering with wider colleagues across procurement, finance and HR to help them identify and understand emerging regulations and best practices and working with them to integrate into existing processes.
Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and met.
Working with the Finance and Sustainability teams to deliver on disclosure requirements and broader stakeholder communications, tender returns etc.
Monitor and report on the progress of sustainability data, programs and initiatives through reports, dashboards etc.
Prepare and submit sustainability reports to regulatory bodies and stakeholders.
Represent the company at industry conferences, workshops, and public forums on sustainability issues.
Is the job for me: Proven experience in sustainability (ESG) management, preferably in construction, engineering or other relevant industry.
Bachelor's Degree (Level 8 NQF) in Engineering/ Environmental/ Sustainability or related subject.
4 years+ experience in sustainability roles within the engineering or construction industry.
Understanding of the key EU and global sustainability reporting regulations and associated sustainability disclosure requirements.
Experience in gathering, analysing and managing sustainability (ESG) data to ensure accuracy and completeness for sustainability reporting requirements.
Experience in sustainable procurement and/or engagement with key suppliers to collect sustainability data and to drive improvements.
