Assistant Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and review due diligence on new direct loans and alternative investments.
* Review partnership agreements and interpret reporting requirements.
* Administer loans, including reviewing facility agreements and calculating interest and repayments.
* Review investee allocations and capital account statements.
* Prepare and review accounting journals and quarterly reporting to the Investment Valuation Committee.
* Manage the year-end direct equity valuation process with external valuers and auditors.
* Train, coach, and mentor junior team members.
Key Skills and Requirements:
* A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is required.
* At least 5 years of experience in Fund Accounting, with knowledge of Private Market and Hedge products.
* Experience managing a team of finance professionals.
* A third-level qualification preferably in Finance or Accounting (or related field).
* Experience in the administration and accounting of investments such as equities, bonds, funds, loans, derivatives, and alternatives.
* Familiarity with portfolio management systems and finance transformation projects.
