Accounts Assistant
Thermohouse are a Manufacturing & Construction company based in Killarney Co Kerry who now have open position within their finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To assist and support the accounts department in all functions, with the main focus on accounts payable & accounts receivable.
2. Process and record all incoming invoices accurately to ensure correct allocation to each project in a timely manner.
3. Process AR invoices and allocate AR receipts to each Debtor.
4. Reconcile supplier & debtor statements to balances on system and follow up on discrepancies.
5. Process payment run and allocate payments to each supplier.
6. Follow up with Debtors in respect of outstanding balances.
7. Reconcile Bank Accounts.
8. Assist with month end reporting.
9. Process RCT & subcontractor invoices.
10. Process scheduled weekly / monthly financial reports.
11. Assisting in year-end audit process.
12. Other ad hoc accounts admin as the role evolves.
Key Skills:
1. Flexible can-do attitude with experience in a fast-paced environment.
2. Self-starter with the ability to manage high volume processing.
3. Advanced MS Office skills.
4. Good interpersonal and communication skills is essential.
Minimum Requirements:
1. It is expected that you will have at least 3-5 years’ experience working in a Finance role, along with an Accounting Technician qualification.
2. Ideally you will have good working knowledge of SAGE, or a similar system.
