Medforce are delighted to be working with a highly reputable establishment to recruit a Social Worker (PQSW) specialising in the Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have three choices of location for this post: Crumlin, Naas or Baltinglass. They will be expected to choose one location as their base and travel to other bases from time to time depending on the needs of the service.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough safeguarding assessments and develop tailored intervention plans to protect vulnerable adults.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support and effective case management.
* Provide direct support to individuals with trauma histories, employing trauma-informed approaches.
* Engage with adults at risk, their families and carers to ensure their voices are central to decision-making.
* Investigate safeguarding concerns in line with local and national policies and procedures.
Essential Requirements
* A degree in Social Work and current registration with CORU.
* Proven experience in adult safeguarding, including handling complex cases.
* Expertise in working with individuals affected by trauma, with knowledge of trauma-informed care principles.
* Ability to work effectively in challenging and emotionally sensitive situations.
Desirable Skills
* Training or certification in trauma-informed practices or related therapeutic approaches.
* Experience in delivering safeguarding training or workshops.
This is a full-time position, 35 hours per week, spread across Monday to Friday with excellent benefits including free onsite parking, incremental HSE pay-scale, generous annual leave entitlement, mileage reimbursement and CPD opportunities.
