Meeting & Events Sales Executive
We are seeking an experienced Meeting & Events Sales Executive to join our team at Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley.
Objective of the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising sales potential and achieving meeting and events sales targets.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Generate meeting and events enquiries through proactive outreach and promotional activities.
* Attend industry events and conferences to promote the hotel's offerings.
* Meet weekly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets for sales appointments and promotional shows.
* Collaborate with sales teams to deliver budgeted revenue for meetings and events.
* Contribute to quarterly and annual sales and marketing plans by suggesting new ideas and strategies.
* Conduct site inspections with potential clients to showcase the hotel's facilities.
* Negotiate with clients to achieve maximum revenue and profit potential while meeting their needs.
* Entertain clients in a professional and courteous manner when required.
* Closely manage prospects to secure bookings and upsell opportunities to maximise revenue.
Requirements
* At least 2 years' experience in event sales or coordination within a hotel or venue environment.
* Proven track record of working effectively with customers to meet their needs.
* Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask.
* Ability to identify opportunities and take initiative to drive sales growth.
* Strong selling and interpersonal skills, with a high level of creativity.
* Full driving license is essential.
