Crane Service Engineer and Maintenance Technician
We are seeking highly skilled professionals to join our team at our state-of-the-art facility in County Down, Ireland.
Crane Service Engineer Role:
This role involves working as a field service engineer, carrying out responses to breakdowns, trouble shooting and repairs. The ideal candidate will possess:
* A time-served apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a 3rd level qualification
* Large crane experience is preferable, but not essential
* Good experience with heavy industrial plant and machinery
* Electrical H&S Happy working at heights Use of MEWPS is preferable
The successful candidate will be required to travel throughout Ireland and will have access to substantial training opportunities.
Maintenance Technician Role:
This is a Monday-Friday role that involves working as part of an established team to minimise breakdowns by routine PPM. Key responsibilities include:
* Routine maintenance of equipment such as Kaltenbach Saws, Peddinghaus Drill lines and Shot Blasters
* Performing tasks such as changing chains or bearings
* Maintaining a safe and efficient working environment
The ideal candidate will be local in South Down and have a can-do attitude, effective team member skills and the ability to change a chain or bearing.
