Job Title: Mechanic Technical Advisor

* Answer inbound technical customer queries and be the first point of contact for drivers.
* Provide sound technical decisions by investigating causes of mechanical failure, evaluating solutions, and ensuring financial decisions are negotiated.
* Manage vehicle mechanical repairs and routine maintenance, in accordance with manufacturer's service requirements and customer's set parameters.
* Ensure all customer queries are dealt with efficiently and in a timely manner.
* Assist with preventative and predictable maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out general administration duties daily.
* Participate in the approvals team by reviewing high estimates, benchmarking costs, and ensuring parts are fully required.
* Develop relationships and build rapport with customers and business partners to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Perform additional duties or projects as requested by the Team Leader/Manager.
Requirements:
* Qualified mechanic required.
* Strong customer service and administration skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize.
* Interest/knowledge of the motor industry or maintenance control experience.
* Excellent communication skills.
* IT proficient.
* Self-motivated individual with an eagerness to learn and develop.
* Flexibility.
* LCV experience and commercial awareness desirable.
* Strong attention to detail.
