Role titleAirline Retailing Insights Analyst
Your roleApplications are currently being invited for the role of Airline Retailing Insights Analyst, reporting to the Airline Retailing Business Insights Manager.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated and of strong commercial analytic capability.
Working within the Airline Retailing function, the Insights Analyst will work collaboratively to improve and develop the functions analytical capabilities.
They will facilitate data driven decision making, revenue optimisation and Loyalty programme growth.
In this role, you will play a critical role in driving business decisions through data analysis, visualisations, and insights.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights to improve the customer experience.
Role Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain data dashboards, reports and tools to enable self-service analytics.Working with the Aer Lingus and IAG Loyalty teams to design, develop and implement data visualisations to effectively communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.Support the development of Ancillary and Partnership reporting capabilities, working with the Ancillary and Partners team to implement trading reporting.Acting as a key contact and become a subject matter expert on Loyalty, Ancillary and Partnerships and Modern Airline Retailing related metrics, data and insight.Support functional areas to identify key business questions and provide actionable insights to support decision making.Able to produce analysis tailored for consumption at all levels of the business, from analyst counterparts to Management Committee and CEO.Utilise SQL and/or Python to analyse large datasets from various sources, to build proof of concept data models and advance analytical capabilities of the team.Using analysis, support enhancement and delivery of Airline Retailing products.Maintain a in depth knowledge of both the Aer Lingus Airline Retailing and Loyalty Programme and competitive landscape to deliver informed and relevant analytics.Stay up-to-date with the latest data analysis and visualisation techniques and tools to continuously improve data insights.Monitor and analyse key performance metrics to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for improvement.Your qualifications and key criteriaBachelor's / Master's degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or proven background in the area of data analysis or similar field.2+ years of experience in an analytical role, with a focus on customer experience, commercial growth or loyalty and acquisition.Strong analytical skills with complex problems with a high attention to detail.SQL and/or Python skills (Python desired, but not required), with a proven ability to manipulate large datasets.Experience in building reports/dashboards on various systems, e.g.
Excel, PowerBI, Tableau.Strong analytical skills, with a passion for solving complex problems through data.Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations and proven strength in storytelling with data.Self-motivated with a high level of initiative, commitment and flexibility.Excellent communication and effective presentation skills.Closing Date: 1st May 2025
