EHS Engineer Opportunity
Cork-based Life Sciences company seeks an experienced EHS Engineer to lead the establishment and enforcement of high EHS standards across operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting EHS assessments and approvals for process and equipment changes
* Maintaining collaborative relationships with EHS teams, Operational Area Managers, and Functional Managers
* Leading audits and inspections, compiling EHS metrics and KPIs data, and identifying trends
* Overseeing EHS systems, including Chemical Management, Accident/Incident Reporting, and Occupational Monitoring
* Interpreting regulatory changes and providing guidance on Health and Safety legislation compliance
* Identifying opportunities to enhance a proactive EHS culture within the organization
Requirements:
* Higher Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
* Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience required
* Extensive experience in regulated manufacturing environments, particularly in Life Sciences or Pharmaceuticals
* Strong experience in chemical management systems and machine safety, as well as regulatory compliance
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
