Conference and Banqueting Associate
The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation, coordination and execution of events, ensuring the highest standards of service and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Event Preparation and Execution: Assist in setting up and breaking down conference and banquet rooms to hotel standards and client specifications.
* Food and Beverage Service: Provide Conference & Banqueting experience within hotels, including delivering food and beverage service.
* Client Communication: Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences.
* Meeting and Conference Services: Serve meeting and conference rooms for coffee breaks, lunch, etc. as needed.
* Function Sheet Management: Liaise with the Events Office to ensure function sheets are up to date.
* Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients and guests.
* Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless event execution.
* Issue Resolution: Handle any issues or concerns that arise during events promptly and professionally.
* Presentation and Hygiene: Maintain the highest possible standard of personal hygiene, uniform, appearance, and conduct at all times.
* Health and Safety: Adhere to our health & safety training, policies, and procedures.
* Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces and storage areas.
Requirements:
* Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong level of English competency.
* Professional Approach: A calm, efficient, professional, and organized approach to work.
