About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Administrator to join our Installations & Technical Support Department.
This role is integral to ensuring seamless communication with customers and contractors, resolving technical queries, and coordinating essential maintenance and emergency services.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining operational excellence while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities: Act as the primary point of contact for customers and contractors, addressing queries related to connections, disconnections, servicing, maintenance, and emergencies such as gas leaks.
Coordinate contractor scheduling for necessary work and manage the emergency call-out roster.
Oversee asset maintenance, including meter locks/unlocks, tank and cylinder defect reports, and 15-year tank testing certifications.
Support contractor management and approval processes.
Approve, code, and reconcile invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Collaborate with the installations department to facilitate gas installations, tank/parts haulage, and connections.
Assist with system-based job estimations and resolve invoice-related queries.
Provide after-hours emergency call-out coverage on a rotational basis.
Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will have proven experience in customer service or a technical support role, preferably with expertise in coordination and contractor management.
They will demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong organisational and clerical abilities, including proficiency in computing and data entry.
Highly adaptable and capable of prioritizing tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, the candidate will be proactive in problem-solving and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
Flexibility and a willingness to participate in rotational after-hours emergency coverage are essential for success in this role.
