Company DescriptionDue to continued growth, new contracts and an extensive pipeline of work Shareridge has an exciting opportunity for a reliable Leak Detection Site Agent, to work with our civils teams in the Midlands & South East region.This is an excellent opportunity for career driven individuals to grow and develop within one of Ireland's fastest growing engineering companies.Shareridge offers attractive salary packages along with additional company benefits based on experience.Description of role:Ensure health and safety policies, standards and procedures are adhered to at all times/Working alongside the HSQE Advisors.Manage the deployment of available leakage resources contracted to detect, pinpoint and promote leakage for repair within the DMA estate through close liaison with the Leakage Manager.Work in close collaboration with Leakage Process Analysts to ensure areas and resources deployed on acoustic lift and shift logging are efficiency deployed and the work basket of generated points of interest are targeted effectively with leakage technicians.Perform regular competency review meetings with leakage technicians and carry out field surveys.Undertake both structured training and individual coaching and mentoring, both in the office and on-site, with leakage technicians to provide learning opportunities and continuous development.Work in close collaboration with operational area UE Leakage conservation engineers and managers.Work with workflow planning team / schedulers to ensure leak repairs are prioritised for repair appropriately and dry holes are investigated effectively and efficiently.Promote areas with the potential for pressure management and/or asset investment to the leakage detection manager.Monitor and maintain leakage equipment in accordance with manufacturers / suppliers recommendations and ensure any performance issues are raised to the leakage detection manager in a timely and appropriate manner.Produce effective and timely reporting of incidents and events.Ensure compliance with company policies, standards and procedures at all times.Experience:5 + Years Experience in clean water networks.Experience in the Water Industry preferably in the field of leakage detection/management.Experience in developing a team to high performance levels and leading the team to achieving challenging targets.Experience in developing individuals to achieve their potential through effective formal and informal management techniques.Skills Knowledge:Good working knowledge of water distribution systems & operational practices/LMS/Watercore Scada.Ability to manage and motivate resources to deliver desired business outcomes.Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively engage at individual level and across functions.Adaptable planning skills to ensure resources are deployed and motivated effectively.Ability to challenge performance levels, implement performance improvement plans and undertake difficult conversations when required.Qualifications:Recognised Management Qualification IOSH Health & Safety Qualifications (or ability to achieve)Safe passManual Handling Apply via the link below or call or text the recruitment team directly on 086 606 6249.
