Quality Technician - Galway, Ireland - 6 Months Contract

Essential duties and responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Ensure compliance to all applicable regulatory standards, current GMP practices and BSC procedures and Work Instructions.
* Control of non-conforming product.
* Performing product defect analysis.
* Provide assistance and support to the Quality Engineering and Operations function.
* Review and update of QA Documentation.
* May perform routine final functional testing, product release criteria testing/inspection and recording of test results.
* Completion of Active Release activities (if applicable).
* Validation report writing.
* Problem solving and continuous improvement investigations.
* Assist in internal and plant wide audits as required.
* Provision of excellent service to all internal customers for the functional area.
* Decision making ability coupled with the ability to work on one's own initiative and with minimum supervision is required.
* Good interpersonal skills and organisational skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Communicates any concerns about work process regarding environmental impact, health or safety issues to their manager.
