Job Opportunity
A permanent full-time position as CE Drugs Rehabilitation Supervisor is available with the Cavan and Monaghan Drug and Alcohol Service.
About the Role
The successful candidate will commence at Point 1 of the DSP scale and work 39 hours per week (09:00-17:30 Monday – Friday) in Cavan (Base) and Monaghan.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide training and development opportunities for people working towards recovery from substance use to re-engage them in active community and working life.
* Support and manage participants in the Drug Rehabilitation Community Employment Scheme.
* Work closely with the therapeutic team in CAMDAS as part of a multidisciplinary effort to foster recovery and reintegration into community and working life.
Person Specification
* Solid understanding of project management and programme delivery to participants in rehabilitation.
* Responsibility, commitment, and motivation to implement the objectives of the Community Employment Drug Rehabilitation Programme.
* Demonstrated knowledge of addiction and rehabilitation support services.
* Familiarity with the DSP Referral procedures for CE participants.
* Overview of the National Drug Rehabilitation Framework and the role of CE in supporting recovery from substance use.
* Desired previous supervisory and people management experience relevant to the post.
* Experience with addiction issues and working with clients towards rehabilitation/recovery.
* Competent report writing skills.
* Experience of working with vulnerable individuals and jobseekers.
* Capable of directing, motivating, coaching, and mentoring jobseekers.
