Join our Global Payroll team to build and manage a world class Payroll operation. This individual will report to the Payroll Manager, and will primarily be responsible for all day-to-day payroll activities for international payroll by region. This is a hybrid role located in Dublin, Ireland.
About this roll* (Responsibilities)
Ensure accurate and timely processing of end-to-end payroll for assigned employees and countries, process data for new hires, terminations, and leaves of absence, garnishments, time and absence entries, equity, bonuses, retro, LOAs, escheatments, and off-cycle payrolls as needed. Process claw backs for overpayments and escheatments. Performs year-end activities as needed.
Assists with research and resolution of Payroll Tax requests, set ups, research, and adjustments as needed. Assists payroll team with assigned tasks as needed. Assist with maintenance of the Equifax platform and related inquiries. Performs updates in Workday and payroll systems as needed. Responsible for EIB loads into Workday. Responsible for Tier 1 support of payroll inquiries
Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensure all data is accurate and compliant with relevant laws and regulations. Ensure Workday is maintained as the primary source of data integrity for all employees. Assists with Workday testing of periodic releases as required.
Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on payroll data, labor costs, and compliance metrics for management and finance teams. Develop a working knowledge of Power Query and Excel to accomplish tasks
Ensure SNOW tickets are managed and responded to timely and accurately at first instance. Ensure SLAs are met when responding to employee inquiries. Provide input to SLA creating and updates as needed.
Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues raised by employees or leadership. Review payroll processes for efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
Work with Total Rewards teams to ensure smooth integration of payroll processes with other business functions
Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures including SOPs, workflows, knowledge base, and others.
Ensure all payroll documentation is accurate, complete, and stored securely for compliance and audit purposes.
Provide training and support to all areas regarding payroll policies and systems.
Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)
A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced, high-growth scale-up environment, demonstrating resilience and adaptability in the face of ambiguity.
The ability to think independently and autonomously, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Proficiency in Workday and CloudPay payroll platforms.
Strong financial acumen and hands-on experience with general ledger (GL) processes.
In-depth knowledge of tax regulations for assigned countries.
Liaise with other regional teams in North America and APAC.
Availability to work within the EMEA time zone.
Experience with Ireland and UK payroll law.
