There is an excellent opportunity for a Credit Analyst to join one of Ireland's leading and highly reputable banks within their corporate banking department. This role would suit a credit and commercially oriented individual who is confident in analysing and preparing credit papers, coordinating reviews and presenting to a credit committee.
Responsibilities
1. Commercial and credit analysis on new business opportunities including both qualitative and quantitative due diligence, financial analysis and stress testing.
2. Be a key player in managing the existing loan book and portfolio from a credit and risk perspective.
3. Assisting with the end to end process of transaction proposals including: transaction origination with senior team members, investment analysis, internal investment approval process and investment execution.
4. Prepare credit papers and coordinate reviews and present to credit committee.
5. Develop and maintain good relationships with business partners and external stakeholders.
Required
1. Strong credit analysis and management skills.
2. In depth knowledge of the lending process within corporate banking.
3. Understanding of the process of reviewing and analysing the performance of a loan in line with the terms and conditions of the legal documentation/Loan Agreement.
4. Experience with cash-flow lending desirable.
5. Ability to manage and develop solid relationships with existing and potential clients.
6. Experience conducting due diligence, financial analysis and stress testing.
