Desired skills:Automated Tester, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Limerick, cURLHybrid (4 days onsite)Responsibilities:Develop and manage automated test suites for both functional and non-functional testing across various components such as APIs, Microservices, web applications, and UIs.Participate in code reviews and other peer review activities (e.g., pair programming) to maintain code quality and uphold security standards.Investigate system issues by debugging, logging, and documenting bugs encountered during testing.Stay up to date with new technologies through hands-on evaluation and proof of concept work.Work closely with software engineers, architects, UI/UX designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.Contribute to creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation.Engage in discussions and workshops with stakeholders to understand requirements and identify solutions and opportunities.Requirements:5+ years of experience in application development.A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.Experience in the financial services, fintech, or risk management sectors.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in discussing technical concepts.Experience with Java Test and Automation frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Cucumber).Familiarity with Functional API Testing frameworks (e.g., KarateDSL).Proficiency with Functional UI Testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Playwright).Experience using issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).Knowledge of test case management tools (e.g., Zephyr, XRay, TestRail).Experience with RESTful APIs (e.g., cURL, Postman).Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo).Understanding of accessibility standards and regulatory compliance.Familiarity with screen reader tools (e.g., Jaws, VoiceOver).Knowledge of UX best practices.Experience in implementing security measures and ensuring compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
