Job Title: Programme Coordinator Cyber Innovate Administrative Officer (Grade VII)
Munster Technological University (MTU) is seeking a Programme Coordinator to manage the Cyber Innovate initiative, a training programme in cybersecurity innovation and entrepreneurship.
About the Department of Cyber Innovate
MTU has an extensive regional footprint with six campuses across the South-West region in Cork and Kerry, and a student body of 18,000. The university wishes to appoint a Programme Coordinator at Grade VII to manage the Cyber Innovate initiative funded by Enterprise Ireland Innovators Initiative.
Cyber Innovate Programme
The Cyber Innovate programme aims to bridge the gap between innovation and cybersecurity challenges by positioning the Southern region of Ireland as a leading innovation ecosystem in cybersecurity. The programme will provide participants with structured, practical training in needs-based innovation methodologies and in-depth exposure to a relevant, real-world immersive environment.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate the immersive environment between students and industry partners.
* Coordinate the recruitment and student selection process.
* Manage the travel budget and all travel and accommodation requirements for the students.
* Implement and coordinate a student alumni programme.
* Liaise with the Department of Computer Science, HEA Cyber Skills initiative, and Department of Management and Enterprise.
* Manage administrative aspects such as tracking of invoices, student recruitment, enrolment, student feedback, immersive environment partner feedback, etc.
Qualification Requirements and Selection Criteria
* Minimum 5 years professional experience in academia/industry.
* Excellent organisational, administration, and documentation skills.
* Proven project and programme management abilities.
* Excellent IT, communication, and presentation skills.
* Fluency in spoken and written English.
Desirable Criteria
* A qualification in Project Management.
* An appropriate third-level qualification at NFQ level 8 or above or equivalent industry experience.
* Demonstrated experience in process development and improvement.
* Experience using a CRM.
