Job Description:
My client, a Boutique 4* Hotel in Leinster has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Rooms Division Manager to manage the day-to-day operations in the Rooms area departments. You will lead the Front Office, Housekeeping & Guest Services departments in the Hotel to ensure a memorable guest experience is delivered, while also liaising with the reservations & revenue team. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in Front Office or Accommodation within a similar 4* or 5* hotel environment.
The Candidate:
* The ideal candidate will have a background in Front Office or Accommodation in a 4* or 5* Hotel environment
* Excellent recruitment, training, and motivational skills with teams.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Good organisational skills and strong numerical skills.
* Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Front Office, Accommodation, & Guest Services departments.
* Ensure all Rooms Division staff are trained and to carry out their duties to the standards expected of a luxury hotel.
* Work closely with both the reservations department and the revenue manager.
* Ensure all staff are familiar with safekeeping, cash handling, credit policy of the hotel and follow each procedure.
* Constantly liaise with the housekeeping department to ensure all guest requests are attended to.
* Ensure the front office department is fully aware of any hotel promotions, corporate promotions, or special activities going on in the hotel/area.
* Manage the Guest Service team.
* Ensure adequate, efficient coverage of nights and manage the overnight team of the hotel.
