Mechanical Engineer - Leading Design and Development of Complex Projects
Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer ready to take the next step in your career? We are recruiting on behalf of a respected multi-national engineering consultancy.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a very well-respected company that has a high presence in the Irish and UK Engineering sectors, working on a wide scope of projects across the country through various project sectors.
You will lead the design and development of mechanical systems for complex projects throughout commercial, residential, and data centre sectors. You will collaborate closely with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
You will spearhead growth throughout the team, providing mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, ensuring high standards and continuous professional growth.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* A relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
* 7+ years of experience in building services or mechanical engineering design
* Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and relevant engineering analysis tools
* A strong understanding of Irish building codes and standards
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing projects and teams
* Experience in data centre projects is highly desirable
