We are currently looking for passionate individuals to join our team across Cork, Wicklow, Meath, Louth, Kildare, Monaghan, or Cavan, providing comprehensive care for vulnerable adults and children.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide care and support through a person-centred approach, meeting the practical, physical, and emotional needs of residents with an Intellectual Disability/ABI/Autism.
* Act as a key worker for named Residents where appropriate.
* Support residents with their daily plans and individual goals.
* Help residents develop living skills, such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, attending appointments, and family visits.
* Possess responsibility for coordination of shift while on duty and supervision of other staff under direction.
* Collaborate with a Multi-Disciplinary Team in service delivery to residents.
Requirements
* Candidates must hold a qualification at Level 7 or above registered as a Social Care Worker with CORU.
* Knowledge of quality assurance practices and their application to service provision.
* Experience working in a residential, respite, or day service setting with persons with an intellectual disability.
* Knowledge of Person Centred Planning.
* Familiarity with clinical and human resource policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
* Understanding of National Disability Standards (HIQA).
