We are presently recruiting for a Purchasing Manager / Insite Manager for our clients, a multinational company in County Limerick. Reporting to the Regional Manager, we require someone with extensive knowledge and experience of dealing with suppliers and setting up managing and working on a supply chain network. This is a full time, initial 2 year contract in County Limerick.
Responsibilities:
1. Analysing and optimizing the Supply Chain.
2. Material planning.
3. Material, subcontract and service purchase and follow up.
4. General administration of all relevant processes including purchase orders, subcontract operations, sales orders, receipting, invoicing, stock adjustments, etc.
5. Liaising with suppliers and visiting supplier facilities as necessary.
6. Working with all involved internal and external parties.
7. Processing complaints.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Minimum of 3 years’ experience required in a purchasing role.
2. A recognised qualification in a related discipline.
3. Full clean driving licence.
4. Experience in Engineering/manufacturing environments is a distinct advantage.
5. Strong negotiation, IT skills, analytics, and organisational skills.
6. Advanced skills with formulas and complex financial spreadsheets in MS Excel.
7. Experience of material planning and contract management with an ERP system.
Company car, pension, medical insurance and bonus, along with a salary in the region of €40 – 50,000 is offered.
