Our Customer Tax and Operating Reporting Services (CTORS) team is unique in the market, we focus on Automatic Exchange of Information (AEOI) regimes such as FATCA and CRS, and US tax reporting services. We are growing and expanding our service offerings and are looking for someone who is keen to join the team in a managerial role.
As a Tax Assistant Manager in CTORS, you will be part of a niche service offering within tax and will have responsibility for advising our high-profile clients as they navigate the complexities of tax reporting, assist them in the end-to-end compliance process, and upgrade how they do business, while building your profile.
Key responsibilities
Your core focus will be on managing a diverse portfolio of clients, bringing together a multi-disciplinary internal team to provide the best possible service. You’ll be empowered to take ownership of the client relationships, acting as the face of EY as you build your personal profile with them. You will also shape the development of junior staff, facilitating their technical and practical experience to ensure they get exposure to a broad range of opportunities as they grow their careers.
You will work with the leadership team in Ireland and across our CTORS global network, to help form and drive strategic initiatives for our business. You will have the ability to influence how we go to market, and be directly involved in branding initiatives, thought leadership and client events.
Skills and attributes for success
A self-motivated and ambitious individual, with a determination to develop their career and grow a business in fast paced and ever-changing environment.
Evolving technical, interpersonal and client relationship skills.
Desire to advance in building client relationships and business development activities.
Demonstration, and a track record, of an ability to lead a team of people to deliver a quality service to clients.
To qualify for the role, you must have
University Degree in Law, Finance, Tax, Data Analytics or Management.
A master’s degree or professional qualification in law and/or Tax is preferred.
4-5 years of relevant/similar work experience.
Strong technical skills and be keen to develop further.
Strong interpersonal skills and a team player.
Analytical skills and data processing.
Skilled user of MS Office. Advanced Excel knowledge is preferred.
It would be ideal if you have:
Financial Services experience or a genuine interest in the financial services sector.
Big 4 Tax experience.
