We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our growing team at our production facility in Meath, Ireland. As a key member of our technical support team, you will provide first-level support within our production facilities and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address and resolve issues efficiently.
The successful candidate will work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with on-call rotations outside regular working hours. This role offers excellent opportunities for career growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide first-level technical support for our dynamic office and production environments.
* D diagnose hardware, software, and in-house application issues using appropriate tools.
* Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly, remaining courteous, and professional at all times.
* Work collaboratively with our global team to achieve individual and group targets.
* Prioritize customer technical support, striving for first-call resolution in each case.
* Take ownership of incidents, managing them through to resolution.
* Liaise with various internal departments to resolve customer queries and complaints.
* Log support information and actions in the relevant database or system.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Holds a third-level qualification in a field related to IT.
* Has at least one year of experience in a technical support environment.
* Possesses excellent knowledge of desktop operating systems.
* Is familiar with Windows Servers.
* Has knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory administration skills.
* Is knowledgeable about Microsoft Exchange.
* Understands network patching, switches, and wireless installations.
* Can work effectively as part of a larger team.
