This role involves a mixed adult caseload, with a strong focus on MSK and domiciliary care, delivering Physiotherapy services directly in the community and clinic settings.
You will be working as part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team that includes Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and other Allied Health professionals.
Regular supervision, peer support, and opportunities for further training are core components of this role.

The purpose of this position is to provide high-quality, person-centred physiotherapy care to adults living in the community, supporting their physical recovery, promoting independence, and preventing hospital admissions.
The successful candidate will contribute to both preventative and rehabilitative services, with a view to enhancing patient outcomes and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive Physiotherapy assessments and treatment interventions to adults with MSK conditions, mobility issues, falls risk, and post-acute needs.
Deliver domiciliary visits as required to assess patients in their home environments and implement functional rehabilitation plans.
Design, implement, and review evidence-based treatment programmes in collaboration with service users and the wider Primary Care team.
Work closely with GPs, Public Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and other Healthcare Professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Participate in service development initiatives, audits, and quality improvement projects.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with CORU and HSE standards.
Attend regular supervision, peer support meetings, and in-service training sessions.

Requirements: BSc in Physiotherapy (or equivalent recognised qualification).
CORU registration (or eligibility).
A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience, preferably with exposure to MSK, rehabilitation, or community-based care.
Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Full clean driver's licence and access to a vehicle for domiciliary visits in the Carrickmacross area.
