Mars Capital was established in 2015 and is a Regulated Credit Servicing Firm, authorised by the by the Central Bank of Ireland and located in Dublin 2. Mars Capital has the capacity and regulatory authority to service loans secured against properties and has €8bn AUM, experiencing significant growth in recent years. We provide services that span the full lifecycle of a loan post origination, from drawdown through to loan administration, asset management, enforcement as well as syndication, securitisation, and standby servicing.

Job Description
We are currently recruiting four Reporting Analysts to join our business as it goes through a vast period of growth. The roles will involve producing and implementing data management, data quality, control and data standards across the function. Supporting both our internal colleagues and external client requirements.
This role will be based at either our Dublin or Manchester office with some home working.
What will you be doing?
* Prepare and validate weekly and monthly reporting deliverables using existing SQL queries
* Work through the requirements with the stakeholders to maintain the structure and integrity of the reports
* Build checks required across different data sources to ensure consistency and completeness
* Work with Data Integrity team and wider business to promote data quality and usability
* Consult, influence and build relationships with all key internal and external contacts
* Ad hoc analysis and reporting on the investment level including requests from the business and client
* Gain understanding of the portfolios and underlying assets
* Assist the development and implementation of effective and consistent systems, as required
Qualifications
* Extensive knowledge of data quality issues, data transformations. Best practice in data manipulation and cleansing
* Extensive SQL essential experience
* Excellent understanding of working in an Asset Management or financial services business and interpreting data
* Strong analytical skills and numeracy, with high levels of accuracy
* Ability to understand complex data and present it in a clear and understandable way
* Able to manage and organise large volumes of information
* Ability to link different data sources and come up with an overall/overarching story
* Proven ability to mine and manage large populations of data from multiple and diverse systems
* Able to plan all action steps to conclude assignments on time
* Structured approach to problem solving
* Strong critical thinking skills, intuitively curious and an ability to diagnose data issues
* Advanced MS Excel skills (Power Pivot, Power Query, VBA)
* Automation knowledge is desirable
* Experience with data visualisation / reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc)
* Experience of dealing with senior management and stakeholders
* Experience of working in a fast paced, changeable environment
