Senior Occupational Therapist
We are delighted to announce the recruitment of motivated and hard-working Senior Occupational Therapists to join our Paediatric Primary Care Team based in County Monaghan.
The Role:
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will lead and manage a caseload of children with various developmental, sensory, and functional needs. Your responsibilities include:
* Providing high-quality assessments, intervention planning, and therapy services in line with evidence-based practices;
* Supporting families and caregivers with strategies to enhance children's participation in daily life at home, school, and in the community;
* Mentoring and supervising junior therapists, therapy assistants, and students;
* Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, including speech therapists, physiotherapists, pediatricians, and educators;
* Contributing to service development, quality improvement initiatives, and team training.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
* Degree in Occupational Therapy with CORU registration;
* Experience working with children in a community setting (preferred but not required);
* Full clean Driver's License with access to your own vehicle;
* Strong clinical, interpersonal, and organizational skills with a compassionate, family-centered approach.
