The Food & Beverage Administrator/Host is responsible for providing administrative support to the F&B department while ensuring an exceptional guest experience at the front of house.
This role includes handling reservations, coordinating events, assisting with inventory management, and maintaining accurate documentation.
The Administrator/Host serves as a key point of contact for guests, ensuring smooth communication between the service team and management.
Key Responsibilities: Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records, manage schedules, and prepare reports related to F&B operations.Guest Relations: Greet guests, manage reservations, and ensure a welcoming environment.Event Coordination: Assist in organising special events and private dining experiences.Inventory Management: Support stock control, order supplies, and liaise with vendors as needed.Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all F&B policies, health, and safety regulations are adhered to.Communication: Act as a liaison between guests, service staff, and management to facilitate smooth operations.Billing & Transactions: Assist in processing payments, invoices, and maintaining financial records.Key Requirements: Education: Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.Experience: Minimum 2 years in an administrative or front-of-house role within the hospitality industry.Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospitality software.Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Working Conditions: This role requires flexibility, including working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and occasional lifting.
