An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Scientist within the High Potency Laboratory facility.
What You Will Do
Bring energy, knowledge, innovation, and leadership to carry out the following:
1. Leading the generation of SOP’s and laboratory practices for High Potency Laboratory.
2. Testing of high potent samples in accordance with approved methods and protocols in compliance with cGMP.
3. Opportunities may arise to take on a leadership role in change or improvement projects in ADC or support at a site level. Assures compliance with all safety and environmental requirements, including High Potency requirements.
4. Compliance with other regulated areas such as HR policies.
5. Documentation of all testing activities and qualifications and to input results into computerised laboratory systems.
6. Lead investigations of laboratory deviations in line with procedures. Complete documentation checks as required for testing prior to disposition.
7. Identify and lead resolution of analytical issues within the laboratory.
8. Analytical testing resource for the wider Analytical Development and Commercialization (ADC) department as required.
What Skills You Will Need
In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:
1. BSc in Chemistry or related discipline and relevant experience.
2. Knowledge of High Potency testing and working in High Potency laboratory is preferred.
3. Experience in analytical science relevant to Drug Substance or Drug Product e.g. HPLC analysis, GC Analysis, Dissolution.
4. To perform analytical testing with a high degree of precision and accuracy.
5. To maintain accurate records in compliance with ALCOA principles and GMP expectations.
6. To understand and internalise procedures relevant to GMP operations.
7. To communicate clearly and concisely on technical issues.
8. On assignment, to manage specific department projects.
9. To lead training programs to laboratory staff, as assigned.
10. To liaise, as required, effectively with all groups showing good team and interpersonal skills.
11. To act as auditee (internal and external audits) for assigned areas of responsibility.
12. Have a strong knowledge of GMP standards.
13. Have strong knowledge Laboratory safety standards.
14. Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
15. Strong documentation skills are required.
16. Must be motivated, focused, and technically strong.
17. Problem-solving skills.
