Job Purpose
The Role of the Customer Development Executive will be to develop best in class business plans with appointed pharmacy chains, creating sustainable competitive advantage for both customer and Kenvue. In addition, as part of our Talent Development Agenda, the CDE will support the Pharmacy Commercial Manager with business development of this important channel.
Essential duties and responsibilities
* Customer Genius: Build a strong working relationship with the leading groups/buying groups. Has responsibility for developing a bottom-up plan with customers that includes all investment and activity. Embraces strategic customer development agenda tools such as Added Value Joint Business Plan process, Perfect Store (Display, Distribution, Promotion, Price), RGM and Category Growth initiatives. Will demonstrate strong understanding of key financial metrics around Net Trade Sales, Volume, Gross & Net Profit.
* Influence & Impact: Sells internally and externally with ease. Understands negotiation dynamics with appropriate levels of coaching. Follows the Kenvue selling process including a realistic proposal balancing customer needs with sound commercial argument.
* Agility: Develops and implements working compliance tools to ensure consistency & measurement of performance across stores. Understands and uses available technical resources (SAP, REX, ARIBA, etc). Prioritises work and activities based on delivering greatest positive impact on customer and company.
* Insights & Activation: Work with Category/Shopper/Marketing departments to develop category recommendations and planograms for key categories. Commands knowledge of customer, shopper and company data sources (Nielsen, IRI, EPOS).
* Provides monthly key account performance updates with recommendations.
* Acts as core project team member for outcomes of AVJBP’s with lead customers.
* Provide field team analysis of ReX Tasks – together with recommendations.
* Works closely with Finance to ensure accuracy in SAP and invoicing. Submit pricing bulletins for price supports and promotions to be put in place.
* Pharmacy accruals: responsibility for One plan input of OTC monthly accruals & update of accrual file.
Qualifications
Essential knowledge and skills
* Degree level educated or equivalent qualification.
* Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Business Warehouse & SAP.
