This is an ideal role for an individual who is already currently working in Sales/Merchandising or is interested to start their career in a sales/merchandising environment and is looking for the opportunity to move into an exciting face paced industry working for an iconic Irish brand.
The Relief Market Developer position in Tayto Snacks supports the Business Development Representatives and other Market Developers in the region in order to achieve World Class activation of our brands.
The successful candidate will be responsible for activating a portfolio of stores with point of sales material and ensuring that we have maximum displays and maximum distribution of our brands in stores.
This is an active position with the successful candidate travelling across the Leinster region to cover sales calls to cover absence of both other Market Developers and BDR's. This role will suit a candidate who is self-motivated and who enjoys variety and the opportunity to learn and develop.
Responsibilities
Activation of stores to a world class standard.
Liaise closely with Business Development Rep. on a daily basis.
Proactively influence display placements and ensure our displays are impactful and always before our competitors in each and every store.
Communication to the wider team with regular testimonials of ‘What Good Looks Like’ in terms of outlet execution.
Required to achieve sales targets through calling on designated customers and selling/merchandising our full range of products.
Identify new areas of opportunity for developing business in store then follow through and implement development plans.
Experience
Minimum 2 years successful track record in FMCG sales/marketing with proven sales and negotiating ability.
Good interpersonal and communication skills – effective influencer with professional manner.
Able to build effective customer relationships and proven commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Highly energetic, enthusiastic and creative.
Excellent planning and organisational skills.
IT Literate.
Full, unrestricted driving license, ability to work outside 9-5 if required.
Commercial awareness and business acumen.
Desired
3rd Level qualification – ideally business related.
Related professional qualification.
